Referring to the Indonesian Ophthalmologist Education Standards, the vision, mission, and goals of education in the FK UNDIP Eye Health Department are as follows:
Vision: In 2024, PPDS IK Mata FK UNDIP will become a superior study program in education, research, and community service.
Missions:
- Organizing quality PPDS IK Mata with national and/or international standards,
- Conduct quality research in the field of IK Mata so that it can be published in reputable national and international scientific journals and/or produce intellectual property rights (HAKI),
- Carry out community service in the field of IK Mata for services and application of research results to improve the degree of public health,
- Organizing credible, transparent, and accountable PPDS IK Mata governance to improve the quality of the tri dharma of higher education. and
- Foster a sense of responsibility, attitude, and behavior of Pancasila and uphold medical ethics.
